First of all, I’m sorry that the format for my fellowship dinner groups didn’t work! The printed lists are at the church!
Monday- Please join us as we minister to the children at Spofford! 6:00- 7:30 We could really use some more volunteers!
Wednesday- Bible Study 7:00 at the church.
Sunday- Nursing home ministry- 2:30 pm- This is another ministry that could use some more volunteers. It is really awesome to touch the lives of these very lonely people.
August 1st- Please mark you calendar and plan on staying after church to celebrate Michaels 13th birthday. We will have a simple lunch like hot dogs or sandwiches and cake and ice cream. If you want to bring a gift that would be nice for him too. Troy took Michael fishing last week and one of the conversations with Michael went like this, Michael said,” You and Melissa care for me don’t you?” Troy answered,”we sure do,” David Crane cares for me too, right? “Yes, Michael he does,” Rob and Laurie care for me too, right?’ “Yes, they sure do,” I think that the whole church cares for me,” thats right Michael we all love you .” Then he went back to fishing! It is so wonderful to be able to be a part of ministering to Michael, he has had a very tough life and even though he has been adopted we still have a great opportunity to love this young man and be a part of his life!
August 4th- Family fun Night! Union Station in downtown KC, 7:00. Come and hang out, and view Aaron’s amazing art work!

Alice has been working with the Red Bridge Baptist church down in a rural part of MO. called Ivy Bend, helping with a VBS, please pray for all of the lives that have been touched by their ministry there.
